The Orchard Church has a long tradition of making its facilities available for community use which is consistent with our mission and values. It was our vision when designing this complex that there would be a significant element of community use. The Auditorium

The Auditorium is a wonderful space for conferences, business meetings, musical/stage productions as well as weddings and funerals. It can seat up to 475 people, with the possibility to overflow into the expansive foyer (if the whole facility is booked) which dramatically increases the capacity of your event. The Auditorium is fitted with a production quality audio visual system (with streaming capabilities), stage lighting and a large screen projector. Sound can also be delivered evenly through the foyer and cafe from speakers connected to the main auditorium sound system.

The Youth Hall

The Youth Hall has its own sound and projection equipment and is often used for smaller events such as business meetings or anniversary celebrations with the capacity to seat up to 100 people. It has servery windows into the kitchen for easy catering. Bifold doors push back onto a shaded decked area with a built-in fireplace/BBQ and an adjacent fenced playground.

The Kitchen

We also offer you the ability to add Kitchen hire to meet the catering needs of your event. Strategically placed between the Lounge and the Youth Hall the fully equipped Kitchen has servery windows both directions. Portable tables can also be used to serve refreshments in any room with ease (with the exception of the Auditorium). The Kitchen can also be hired separately from the other spaces. There are two rates of fixed price hire – exclusive use/cooking or shared light use/serving.

The Lounge

Our small private Lounge can seat 20 – 30 people and is a great meeting place with convenient food service from the adjacent kitchen via the servery window.

Cafe

The modern Café area with barista coffee machine seats 80 and opens out onto a shaded decked space with an inbuilt fireplace/BBQ and is adjacent to a fenced playground. The Cafe also has its own separate sound system connected to a TV so you can play music or video either from disc or via Bluetooth from your devices. The Café can be hired with or without the operation of the machine. Machine hire includes the cost of “coffees” but a Barista must be hired to operate the machine.

FOYER

The expansive Foyer is a great shared space that connects all the different areas of the facility. It has plenty of space to set up serving tables or promotional materials. Exclusive use of the Foyer is only available if the Whole Facility is booked.

WHOLE FACILITY

Hire of the Whole Facility allows use of all the spaces listed above.

Please note that during any hire staff may be working in the building and that the offices are out of bounds for Hirers and their guests.
