Discover Jesus
Learn about the person at the centre of the Christian faith
Jesus is the most influential person who’s ever lived. But He’s far more than a teacher or a good man—He claimed to be God in human flesh, come to rescue a broken world. His life, death, and resurrection are the turning point of history.
More than anything, Jesus invites us to know Him personally—and everything changes when we do.

God created us for relationship—with Him, with one another, and with the world He made. But humanity turned away from God, choosing our own path, and the result is a world marked by pain, injustice, and separation from the One who gives life.
Yet God didn’t leave us there.
In love, God sent His Son, Jesus, to live the life we couldn’t and die the death we deserved. On the cross, Jesus took the weight of our sin, and three days later, He rose from the grave—defeating death and offering us forgiveness, freedom, and eternal life.
This is the good news: through Jesus, we can be made new.
This isn’t just an ancient story—it’s good news for you today.
Each of us has turned away from God, and the Bible says we are under His just judgment. Sin doesn’t just make life harder—it separates us from the God who made us, and it places us under His wrath. But here’s the wonder: the same God who judges sin also made a way to save sinners.
On the cross, Jesus took our place—bearing the punishment we deserved—so that we could be forgiven, made right with God, and welcomed into His family.
This is why we come to Jesus: not just to improve our lives, but because we need Him. And when we do, He gives us what we could never earn—peace, forgiveness, and a new life that begins now and lasts forever.
You don’t need to fix yourself first. You don’t need to earn His love. You’re invited to come as you are.

The message of Jesus calls for more than just interest—it invites trust.
John 3:16 puts it simply:
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
To respond to Jesus is to believe—to trust that He really did die and rise again for you, and that through Him, you have forgiveness and eternal life. It’s not about cleaning yourself up or proving anything. It’s simply receiving the gift He offers, by faith.
If you’re ready to take that step, here’s a simple way you could express that trust in prayer:
Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You died for me and rose again. I trust You to forgive me and give me eternal life, just like You promised. Thank You. Amen.
That’s it—faith, not effort. And from that trust grows a new life with Him.
