At The Orchard we do not believe in or teach a prosperity gospel and we are not a church where every Sunday morning you are pressured to give money. However, in response to God’s amazing grace and mercy toward us, and in obedience to his word, we encourage you to give generously to the Lord’s work being done through The Orchard Church.
Our weekly church services and all the ministries we are involved in, both locally in Te Puke and globally across the world are only made possible by your generous giving. Thank you.
There are three ways to give your tithes and offerings:
- You can give via internet banking (or automatic payment) – our bank account number is 02 0452 0007000 01 [BNZ]. It’s under the name “The Orchard General Account ” Please place your name in the reference field so we can give you a tax receipt at the end of the year.
- You can give at our Sunday service – by placing your offering in the boxes found either side of the auditorium door (or hand in at the office during the week).
- You can give via eftpos – at the Connections Desk anytime the church building is open.
Please make sure you put your name on your eftpos docket or place your money in an envelope with your name on it so that we can provide you with a receipt at the end of the tax year. A third of all your charitable giving (within certain parameters) can be claimed back from IRD – click here for more information.
