We exist to bring glory to God and hope to the Bay!
The Food Drive is designed to do just that!
In the words of singer Andy Williams, Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. But for many, Christmas is also a hard time of the year. This year, many people have lost their jobs or found themselves in financially hard times. In the spirit of Christmas and giving, we want to do what we can to help.
Each Sunday in the lead up to Christmas, we invite you to bring non-perishable items to put in the trailer to help those in need. Specifically, we have in mind:
- Those in our church family in need
- Those in our wider Te Puke community
- Those in the Whakatane community via our church plant
Please bring what you can and let’s fill this trailer!
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.
