A church is a community. The Bible talks about this community aspect in terms of a body. Each person is a part that is dependent on the other parts. Our desire is to build one another up in love so that we can be the healthiest body we can be!

Serving within the church is one way this “body life” plays out in practical ways. Different people serving in ways that they are talented helps the whole church to flourish. Sadly, churches are often characterised by an 80/20 rule – 80% of the work is done by 20% of the people.

After our service on Sunday July 11, we will be showcasing a ministry fair. While you’re chatting and drinking coffee, you’ll be able to chat to various ministry leaders to find a place where you feel like you can contribute. Besides helping the church to function healthily, the added benefit is you also find a place of belonging when you’re plugged in serving somewhere!
