In the final sermon in this series we learn that to survive the heat you need to seek shelter…but not just any shelter.
When the going gets hot, hang tough regardless!
Surviving the intense times of heat becomes more bearable when you know that there are refreshing times to come.
Survival is about being on the right side…the best side is God’s side!
Surviving the heat requires you to be planted in good soil, with sufficient nutrients and water to sustain you.
When the going gets hot the best course of action can be to face it front on, even if it brings you to tears.
If you want to survive the heat then you have to be prepared for the worst.
What good is it knowing the contents of The Best Book in the World if we then fail to share it?
How do you know it’s the Best Book in the World (or not) if you don’t know it’s contents?
Do we have any justification as Christians for using the line “no one can tell me what is right or wrong”? Did Jesus ever actually say that?
