Give

Partner with us to bring glory to God and hope to the world

Not a prosperity gospel

At The Orchard Church we do not believe in or teach a prosperity gospel that if you give, God will make you wealthy and healthy. We are also not a church where every Sunday morning you are pressured to give money. What we do believe is that God is a generous God and that financial giving is an appropriate response to His generosity.

Ways to give

Our weekly church services and all the ministries we are involved in, both in the Bay and across the world, are only made possible by your generous giving. Thank you. If you would like to contribute, here are four ways to make a donation.

Internet banking

You can give via internet banking (or automatic payment) – our bank account number is 02 0452 0007000 01 [BNZ]. It’s under the name “The Orchard General Account ” Please place your name in the reference field so we can give you a tax receipt at the end of the year.

Cash donation

You can give at our Sunday service – by placing your offering in the boxes found either side of the auditorium door (or hand in at the office during the week).

EFTPOS

You can give via eftpos – at the Connections Desk anytime the church building is open.

Credit card

You can give by credit card using Tithe.ly – just click on the button below. A record of your giving using this method will show up in your Elvanto – Tithe.ly account under Giving.

End of year receipt

If giving using method 2 or 3 please make sure you put your name on your eftpos docket or place your money in an envelope with your name on it so that we can provide you with a receipt at the end of the tax year. A third of all your charitable giving by any of the above methods (within certain parameters) can be claimed back from IRD – click here for more information.

If you need any help with ways to give please contact our office.
